วันที่ 29 มีนาคม 2567 อาจารย์ ดร.พิบูลย์ ชุมพลไพศาล คณบดีวิทยาลัยศาสนศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล และ และ Dr. Rufin Jeremy Saul อาจารย์ประจำวิทยาลัยศาสนศึกษา กล่าวต้อนรับผู้เข้าร่วมการบรรยายทางวิชาการระดับนานาชาติ “Mahidol University’s CRS Religious Studies Seminars” (MU-CRS Religious Studies Seminars) ประจำเดือนมีนาคม ในโอกาสนี้ ได้รับเกียรติจาก Associate Professor Miroj Shakya, Chair in the Department of Religious Studies, University of the West, California, USA มาบรรยายในหัวข้อ “The Digital Sanskrit Buddhist Canon Project: Problems and Possibilities” โดยมีผู้สนใจร่วมรับฟังผ่านระบบออนไลน์ทั้งสิ้น 47 คน ซึ่งการบรรยายดังกล่าวจะเป็นประโยชน์ในการส่งเสริมการบรรลุเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน ตลอดจนรับทราบและเข้าใจถึงแนวทางการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน อันเป็นการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตตามเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนข้อ 4 (การศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพ) ต่อผู้เข้าร่วมรับฟังการบรรยาย นักศึกษา คณาจารย์ และบุคลากรมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดลต่อไป

Mahidol University’s CRS Religious Studies Seminars in March 2024 on “The Digital Sanskrit Buddhist Canon Project: Problems and Possibilities”

Dr. Phibul Chompolpaisal, Dean of College of Religious Studies, Mahidol University and Dr. Rufin Jeremy Saul, Lecturer, gave welcome speeches at the online academic event entitled “Mahidol University’s CRS Religious Studies Seminars”, in March 2024, in which Associate Professor Miroj Shakya, Chair in the Department of Religious Studies, University of the West, California, USA gave a lecture on “The Digital Sanskrit Buddhist Canon Project: Problems and Possibilities”. The seminar series is scheduled to take place on a monthly basis where international scholars in the field of Religious Studies are invited to give academic talks and presentations to promote a better understanding and knowledge of Religious Studies among about 47 students, lecturers, and interested persons joining the event.
