Dr. Kornkanok Sarapirom

Biography

Kornkanok Sarapirom had B.Ed. in English Teaching at Srinakarinwirot University, M.A. in Medical and Health Social Sciences at Mahidol University and she completed her Ph.D in Interdisciplinary Research for Health Development at Chulalongkorn University. She specializes in Social Sciences and Humanities research and project management, qualitative research and evaluation, while she is considered as a mixed blood between educator and sociologist. Definitely, her research works mainly are qualitative studies with the application of innovative techniques such as Grounded Theory, Ethnographic Study, and Focus Group Discussion. Before joining at the College of Religious Studies, Dr. Kornkanok served as a Lecturer at Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Ratchaburi for several years, and as a Community Education Specialist for International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent (IFRC) where she developed and conducted training and education programs for Tsunami affected communities in Southern Part of Thailand.
