Suchada graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Chulalongkorn University. She continued her study in Japan and obtained a master and a doctoral degree in Buddhist studies from Otani University in Kyoto. And afterwards, she went to study English in International and English Language Programs and also participated in Sanskrit classes at the University of Washington, USA for one year.
She has experiences in a comparative study of Buddhist texts (Sanskrit, Chinese, Japanese) when she was in Japan. Having returned Thailand, she focuses her research on palm-leaf manuscripts of the Pali canon which are written with various scripts, especially Khom and Tham scripts. Her study also covers historical issues on the transmission of Buddhist manuscripts. Recently, she has been invited to be a Visiting Scholar for the Digital Archive Section of Otani University, Japan.
