วิทยาลัยศาสนศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล จัดกิจกรรม International Workshop on Interdisciplinary Research (IWIR) เมื่อวันจันทร์ที่ 23 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 เวลา 13.30 – 16.30 น. ในรูปแบบ Hybrid (On-site & Online) ณ ห้องประชุม 1 ศูนย์สัตว์ทดลองแห่งชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล พร้อมถ่ายทอดสดผ่านระบบออนไลน์ Webex
กิจกรรมครั้งนี้มี ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ไพเราะ มากเจริญ คณบดีวิทยาลัยศาสนศึกษา และ Assoc. Prof. Dr. Milos Hubina รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและวิเทศสัมพันธ์ เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม พร้อมด้วยคณาจารย์จากวิทยาลัยศาสนศึกษา ตลอดจนนักวิชาการและผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจากสถาบันทั้งในและต่างประเทศ ร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองด้านการวิจัยข้ามศาสตร์ ณ จุดตัดระหว่างศาสนา วิทยาศาสตร์ สังคมศาสตร์ และมนุษยศาสตร์
การประชุมมุ่งเน้นการบูรณาการองค์ความรู้จากศาสตร์ที่หลากหลาย เพื่อพัฒนางานวิจัยที่มีคุณภาพและสร้างผลกระทบเชิงสังคม โดยเปิดพื้นที่สำหรับการอภิปรายเชิงวิชาการอย่างสร้างสรรค์ และนับเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของการพัฒนาความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัยแบบข้ามสาขา ตลอดจนการวางรากฐานเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันทั้งในและต่างประเทศ
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวสะท้อนบทบาทของวิทยาลัยศาสนศึกษาในฐานะพื้นที่กลางของการขับเคลื่อนงานวิจัยด้านศาสนาในบริบทสหสาขาวิชา และสอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (SDGs) ได้แก่ SDG 4: Quality Education และ SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals
กิจกรรมครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นภายใต้ความร่วมมือกับมูลนิธิไทย (Thailand Foundation) วิทยาลัยขอขอบคุณวิทยากร ผู้เข้าร่วม และหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องทุกภาคส่วน รวมถึงศูนย์สัตว์ทดลองแห่งชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ที่เอื้อเฟื้อสถานที่จัดกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้

International Workshop on Interdisciplinary Research (IWIR) (1st Workshop of 2026)
The College of Religious Studies, Mahidol University organized the International Workshop on Interdisciplinary Research (IWIR) on Monday, 23 February 2026, from 1:30–4:30 PM, in a hybrid format (on-site and online), held at Meeting Room 1, National Laboratory Animal Centre, Mahidol University, with live streaming via Webex.
The event was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr Pairor Makcharoen, Dean of the College of Religious Studies, and Assoc. Prof. Dr Milos Hubina, Deputy Dean for Research and International Affairs, together with faculty members from the College and distinguished scholars from institutions in Thailand and abroad. Participants engaged in interdisciplinary dialogue at the intersection of religion, hard sciences, social sciences, and humanities.
The workshop emphasized the integration of diverse academic approaches to develop research with meaningful social impact. It marked an important starting point for interdisciplinary collaboration and laid the foundation for sustained research partnerships at both national and international levels.
The event reflects the College’s role as a hub for interdisciplinary scholarship in religious studies and aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
The workshop was organized through a collaboration with the Thailand Foundation. The College offers its profound thanks to the speakers, participants, supporting organizations, and the National Laboratory Animal Centre, Mahidol University, for their gracious provision of the venue.
