วันนี้ (17 มีนาคม 2569) ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ไพเราะ มากเจริญ คณบดีวิทยาลัยศาสนศึกษา พร้อมด้วย อาจารย์ ดร.สุชาดา ศรีเศรษฐวรกุล รองคณบดีฝ่ายเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศและเครือข่ายความร่วมมือ นำคณะบุคลากรเดินทางไปยังจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา เพื่อเข้าพบและหารือความร่วมมือกับหน่วยงานภาคีเครือข่าย ในการร่วมจัดโครงการสัมมนาวิชาการและนิทรรศการ “คัมภีร์พุทธศาสนาโบราณในฐานะมรดกวัฒนธรรม: โลกทัศน์ ศรัทธา และการต่อยอดเชิงสร้างสรรค์”
โดยสถานที่แรก คณะฯ ได้เดินทางไปยัง ศูนย์พุทธศาสตร์ศึกษา DCI เพื่อศึกษากระบวนการอนุรักษ์และการเก็บรักษาเอกสารโบราณอย่างเป็นระบบ ครอบคลุมตั้งแต่คัมภีร์ใบลานไปจนถึงการจัดการองค์ความรู้ด้านพระไตรปิฎก รวมถึงแนวทางการจัดหมวดหมู่ การบันทึกข้อมูล และการดูแลรักษาเพื่อการสืบค้นในระยะยาว พร้อมทั้งแลกเปลี่ยนแนวทางการดำเนินงานและความร่วมมือในภาพรวม
จากนั้น คณะผู้บริหารและบุคลากรได้เดินทางต่อไปยัง วัดพนัญเชิงวรวิหาร ซึ่งเป็นหน่วยงานหลักในการจัดงานครั้งนี้ และเป็นแหล่งสำคัญในการเก็บรักษาคัมภีร์ใบลานและผ้าห่อคัมภีร์ โดยได้ร่วมประชุมหารือในรายละเอียดเกี่ยวกับแนวทางความร่วมมือ รูปแบบการดำเนินงาน และการจัดสัมมนาวิชาการและนิทรรศการ เพื่อให้การถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้จากแหล่งมรดกจริงสู่สาธารณะเกิดขึ้นอย่างเหมาะสมและมีประสิทธิภาพ
การเดินทางปิดท้ายที่ วัดย่านอ่างทอง (วัดจุฬาโลก) ซึ่งเป็นต้นแบบของการต่อยอดมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมสู่การพัฒนาเชิงสร้างสรรค์ในระดับชุมชน ผ่านการนำลวดลายจากผ้าห่อคัมภีร์ใบลานมาพัฒนาเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ของวิสาหกิจชุมชน พร้อมทั้งศึกษาข้อมูลจากเอกสารโบราณ อาทิ ตำรับยาและองค์ความรู้ทางพระพุทธศาสนา และหารือแนวทางความร่วมมือในการสร้างองค์ความรู้ในระดับพื้นที่ รวมถึงการต่อยอดสู่การพัฒนาเยาวชนในท้องถิ่นอย่างยั่งยืน
การดำเนินงานในครั้งนี้สะท้อนบทบาทของวิทยาลัยศาสนศึกษาในการเป็นแกนกลางของการเชื่อมโยงความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันการศึกษา วัด และชุมชน เพื่อร่วมกันพัฒนาองค์ความรู้ด้านมรดกทางศาสนาและวัฒนธรรม และขับเคลื่อนสู่การจัดประชุมวิชาการและนิทรรศการที่มีความเข้มแข็งในระดับประเทศและนานาชาติอย่างยั่งยืน

Today (March 17, 2026), Assistant Professor Dr. Pairor Markcharoen, Dean of the College of Religious Studies (CRS), alongside Dr. Suchada Srisetthaworakul, Associate Dean for Information Technology and Cooperative Networks, led a delegation to Ayutthaya Province. The mission was to meet and discuss collaborations with network partners for the upcoming academic seminar and exhibition titled: "Ancient Buddhist Manuscripts as Cultural Heritage: Worldview, Faith, and Creative Innovation."
Key Destinations & Collaborations: DCI Buddhist Research Center: The team studied systematic conservation and preservation processes for ancient documents, ranging from palm-leaf manuscripts to Tipitaka knowledge management. Discussions focused on categorization, digital archiving, and long-term maintenance for research accessibility.
Wat Phanan Choeng Worawihan: As a primary co-host and a major repository of palm-leaf manuscripts and traditional manuscript covers, the temple hosted a detailed planning session. The focus was on designing an academic seminar and exhibition that effectively translates authentic heritage into public knowledge.
Wat Yan Ang Thong (Wat Chula Lok): The visit concluded at this model site for community-based creative development. The delegation observed how traditional patterns from manuscript covers are transformed into local community products. They also explored ancient wisdom found in manuscripts—such as traditional medicine and Buddhist teachings—and discussed ways to empower local youth through sustainable heritage education.
This initiative highlights the College of Religious Studies' role as a central hub connecting academia, temples, and communities. Together, these partners are strengthening religious and cultural heritage knowledge, driving it toward a robust academic and exhibition platform on both a national and international scale.
